Join us for a Bocce Ball Tournament with music, drinks, a "grab & go" lunch, and fun. We will also have a costume contest where the best dressed team wins (team member costumes do not have to match). No experience necessary. We will play on the Roanoke Catholic and Valley AFC Soccer Complex located at 1555 13th Street, SE. Registration required in advance or on-site: $50 for each team of two Kiwanis Club members, $25 for each team of two guests. Includes five games, two drinks, and lunch. This is an excellent opportunity to invite gusts to enjoy themselves and see some of what makes our Kiwanis Club so special.
We are looking for a big crowd of Kiwanis members and the public to attend the Mill Mountain Star Dedication ceremony. We will be unveiling to the public the new plaque honoring the winner of this year's Kiwanis Star auction, Bower Heating and Air Conditioning. The Mayor and other dignitaries are expected. The press is invited. The dedication ceremony begins at 11:00am at the Star visitor platform. This is an excellent opportunity to invite a guest to see some of what makes our Club special.
