We will use grabbers, trash bags, and vests provided by Clean Valley Council; will finish by 12:00 noon. This event is being held in partnership with the Envision Center (Roanoke Redevelopment Housing Authority), Shiloh Baptist Church, SERV, Clean Valley Council, our district's Key Clubs, and the Aktion Club. Invite a non-club member to join you.
Meet at 9:30 on November 4th at the Goodwill picnic shelter at 2502 Melrose Avenue to sign in and get supplies and instructions (and muffins). Work between 10:00 and 11:00 to fill those orange trash bags with litter that threatens our precious environment and our Larry the Logperch endangered species. Afterwards, join those of us headed to Chris' Coffee and Custard restaurant on Ninth Street to reward ourselves for yet again showing that Kiwanis Cares and Makes a Difference.
