The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke and the Shiloh Baptist Church have partnered together to form the Bridge Builders of the Roanoke Valley. The public is invited to a concert at the Windsor Hills United Methodist Church from 6:00-7:30pm on August 24. Bishop Milton Hardy, The Family, and Henry Brickey Music Ministry will be featured. Admission if free. Donations are encouraged and will be directed to RAM House.
We are looking for a big crowd of Kiwanis members and the public to attend the Mill Mountain Star Dedication ceremony. We will be unveiling to the public the new plaque honoring the winner of this year's Kiwanis Star auction, Bower Heating and Air Conditioning. The Mayor and other dignitaries are expected. The press is invited. The dedication ceremony begins at 11:00am at the Star visitor platform. This is an excellent opportunity to invite a guest to see some of what makes our Club special.
Join our Officer Installation dinner in Charter Hall from 5:30-7:50pm. We will thank our outgoing Officers and Directors, install our new Officers and Directors, recognize the efforts of our continuing directors, listen to remarks from our outgoing President, and listen to remarks from our incoming President.
