Join members of our Environment Committee, the Clean Valley Council, and Roanokers for the Fall Waterways Cleanup on October 5 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Meet at the upper parking lot at Washington Park near the intersection of Carver Avenue and Burrell Street NW. This annual fall event encourages residents to clean up litter that might otherwise find its way to our rivers and beaches. Please invite your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. Sign up sheets may be found on tables at our weekly lunch meetings.
