Join our Officer Installation dinner under a picnic shelter overlooking Carvins Cove from 5:00-7:10pm. We will thank our outgoing Officer and Directors, install our new Officer and Directors, recognize the efforts of our continuing directors, listen to remarks from our outgoing President, and listen to remarks from our incoming President. New Orleans gumbo, side salad, desert, and drinks will be served. Bring your own seating or sit at provided picnic tables. No lunch meeting will be held this week. Please park in the lower lot; the upper lot adjacent to the pavilion is reserved for our less mobile Kiwanians. RSVP is required in advance.

Join the Bridge Builders for breakfast and music on December 17 in the Fellowship Hall at Pilgrim Baptist Church located at 1415 Eighth Street, Roanoke, VA 24017. Meet/greet and coffee at 8:00am, breakfast begins at 9:00am, then music. The Bridge Builders is attempting to bring People of Faith together to Praise God, celebrate our differences, and get to know & understand each other better; it is a joint initiative between Windsor Hills United Methodist Church and Pilgrim Baptist Church. Children and grandchildren welcome. Reservations by December 12 requested. Tickets cost $15.00 per person; $5.00 for ages 18 and under.

Join us for our annual Interclub social get-together with members of our Kiwanis Club and members from other Clubs. This is an especially good opportunity to bring family and friends. This year's event will be a low country boil held at the picnic pavilion at Carvins Cove. Cost is $20.00 per person for non-members and $8.00 for members. RSVP is required.
Join us at 10am for the dedication event at the Roanoke Star on Mill Mountain when Dr. Brenda Hale will be recognized with a plaque placed at the base. Dr. Hale "won" the Star, for a one-year period, at the recent Kiwanis Club of Roanoke annual KPAD auction. The press will be in attendance. The public is invited.
