Meet at the Kazim Shriners of Roanoke to take part in a National Day of Prayer breakfast, 627 Campbell Ave. Breakfast buffet opens at 6:45am. Program runs from 7:00-8:30am.Tickets are being sold to attendees only. Tickets cost TBD per person.
Meet at 10:00 on January 19th (Martin Luther King day) at the Envision Center located at 2607 Salem Turnpike (a short walk to the Kiwanis Nature Park and the Horton's Branch watershed). We will use grabbers, trash bags, and vests provided by Clean Valley Council; will finish by 12:00 noon. This event is being held in partnership with the Envision Center (Roanoke Redevelopment Housing Authority), Shiloh Baptist Church, SERV, Clean Valley Council, our district's Key Clubs, and the Aktion Club.
