BRIDGE BUILDERS – Salem Red Sox
Bridge Builders event. Bridge Builders is a group comprised of members of the Shiloh Baptist Church and the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke. Socialize at the Salem Red Sox game on June 21. Tickets are $28.00 each. Price includes a reserved seat and a picnic buffet featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, and Pepsi products. Picnic from 6:15-8:15pm. First pitch at 7:05pm. Reservations are due by June 17.

Fun Committee event. Socialize at Stony Brook Vineyards on July 27 from 1-4pm. Reservations required. $15 per person includes BBQ lunch with sides, Kiwanis cookies, and live music from Mark Folks. Wine will be available to purchase. Bring your own chair. This will be a good time to enjoy each other's company. This will also be a good time to invite a non-Kiwanian so they can see the fun side of our Club.

The Kiwanis Capital District has announced a leadership development opportunity available to o us Wednesday, May 22nd, at 7 pm. Dr. Melinda Hill, a Maxwell Leadership Certified Trainer, holds a doctorate in higher education leadership and a masters degree in counseling, " The title of this 90-minute interactive workshop is "Developing the Leader Within: Applying DEIBA Values" -- how to better prepare our clubs and its members for the future.
