KIWANIS INTERCLUB – Golf and Dinner

On September 19, 2024, the Danville Kiwanis Club will host an Interclub for Kiwanians in our division. Members of our Kiwanis Club of Roanoke are encouraged to attend (many of us have had fun at these Interclub events in the past). Golf will be available at the Danville Golf Club at 12:30 p.m. At 5 p.m. or so, the golfers will leave the golf club and drive into town to the Danville Science Center on Craighead Street where at 5:30 p.m., the Science Center will host a Happy Hour of beer, wine, and nibblies. At 6:30 p.m., the attendees will walk twenty paces or so to the train station where a barbecue dinner will be served. The cost of everything, not including the golf, will be $20 per person. BRIDGE BUILDERS – Unity Concert

The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke and the Shiloh Baptist Church have partnered together to form the Bridge Builders of the Roanoke Valley. The public is invited to a concert at the Windsor Hills United Methodist Church from 6:00-7:30pm on August 24. Bishop Milton Hardy, The Family, and Henry Brickey Music Ministry will be featured. Admission if free. Donations are encouraged and will be directed to RAM House.
