Our Club's Fun Committee is holding a dance with live music at the American Legion in Salem. Join us from 6:00-8:00pm for some music from our own Club members in the Possum Band. Some refreshments will be provided; folks are encouraged to bring some as well. Please register in advance. The cost is $10 per person. This is an excellent opportunity to invite a guest to see some of what makes our Club special.
Our Club's Fun Committee is having a casual cook out at Carvin's Cove. Join us at the picnic shelter beginning at 5:30 for some food, to socialize, and enjoy the view. The costs are covered for Club members whose meals are included in their membership. No Club meeting this week, so come out to enjoy this evening's activity. Our Club's Fun Committee has made arrangements to enjoy a baseball game at the Salem Red Sox on July 27; come before the 6:45pm to help sing the National Anthem and to socialize. We have a group of 60 tickets reserved for advance purchase for us to sit together. Tickets are $13 each which gets you into the game and gives you a $3 food voucher to use there. Should be a FUN night at the ballpark. Repurchased tickets will be distributed just outside of the gate. Wear a Kiwanian shirt or hat. Join our Officer Installation dinner under a picnic shelter overlooking Carvins Cove from 5:00-7:10pm. We will thank our outgoing Officer and Directors, install our new Officer and Directors, recognize the efforts of our continuing directors, listen to remarks from our outgoing President, and listen to remarks from our incoming President. New Orleans gumbo, side salad, desert, and drinks will be served. Bring your own seating or sit at provided picnic tables. No lunch meeting will be held this week. Please park in the lower lot; the upper lot adjacent to the pavilion is reserved for our less mobile Kiwanians. RSVP is required in advance.
