KIDS FISHING DAY
Meet at Hope Tree Family Services. Join kids from the West End Center for a fun time fishing, and have lunch. Thanks go to Orvis for again sponsoring this event.
GROW SEEDS
Join us immediately following the January 25 Kiwanis Club meeting at 1:30pm for a half-hour community service project. We will meet in Charter Hall to plant wildflower seeds in potting soil in empty jugs. The seeds and potting soil will be supplied. Participants are asked to bring clean and empty gallon or ½ gallon jugs, bring sharp scissors or exacto knive, and to take the filled jugs jugs home for the seedlings to grow. Planting will occur in the Kiwanis Nature Park Wildflower Garden in the Spring.
MLK SERVICE DAY
Join the Clean Valley Council for an MLK Service Day from 11am-1pm on January 16 to clean up litter in the Melrose neighborhood. Meet at the picnic shelter next to Horton Park at 2500 Salem Turnpike. All clean up supplies will be provided.
KPAD TICKET TEAM DRAFT
Ticket sales teams will be drafted by the Team Captains. Meet at the Elks Lodge from 6:30-8:00pm, 1147 Persinger Rd.
KPAD SET UP
Join us on May 5 to set up for our biggest KPAD yet. We are holding the event in Berglund Hall.
KPAD COMMITTEE MEETING
Meet at the Elk's Club at 5:30pm. KPAD Close Out lessons learned review. Discussion of what worked well and what could be done differently, and discussion of chronological documents for each work area.
