CTE STUDENTS
The purpose of the Kiwanis CTE (Career and Technical Education) Awards Program is to assist and celebrate Roanoke County (Burton Center for Arts and Technology i.e. BCAT) and Roanoke City (DAYTEC and ROTEC) high school CTE students that are graduating and entering the workforce. $3,500 of funding has been provided by our Kiwanis Club in 2025 to each of these institutions.
Students were selected by their institutions based upon their conduct and attitude across their time at school and/or internships. Funding was provided directly to purchase tangible goods the students need on the job.
