MAYOR CANDIDATES FORUM

The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce are inviting the public to the Roanoke Mayor Candidates Forum from 5:00-7:30pm October 1. This event is being held in Charter Hall on the third floor of the City Market Building at 32 Market Square. The media will be invited. Lite refreshments will be provided. Admission is free. Registration is required in advance. No walk-ins.

Candidates Joe Cobb, David Bowers, and Stephanie Moon Reynolds will respond to previously prepared questions; WSLS 10 News Anchor John Carlin will moderate the event. The event will not include an audience Q&A session. Whether you’re a resident, business leader, or simply interested in the future of Roanoke, this event will provide essential insights into the upcoming mayoral election. Each candidate will have a fixed time to address each question and for follow-up comments. Questions will be focused on topics that allow the candidates to talk about their platforms, the issues, and their qualifications. Time will be allocated at the end of the forum for candidates to speak one-on-one with voters and the media.
