ENVIRONMENT CONFERENCE BOOTH

Our Kiwanis Nature Park committee and our Environment committee have secured an exhibit booth at the 2025 Virginia Environmental Education Conference being held February 10 at the Hotel Roanoke from 7:00am-5:00pm. This is an exciting outreach activity to share information about our Club’s environmental efforts and our Nature Park. Larry the Logperch will be featured. Volunteers are being recruited for shifts to staff our booth.

Classroom and community-based environmental educators from across the commonwealth will participate in professional development, networking, learning opportunities, field trips, and collaboration to celebrate and enrich environmental education in the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond.
