CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATES FORUM

The Kiwanis Club of Roanoke and the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce are holding a members only Roanoke City Council Candidates Forum from 11:00am-1:00pm on September 17. This event is being held in the Jefferson Center. The media will be invited. Lite refreshments will be provided. Admission is $29.00. Registration is required in advance. No walk-ins.

Roanoke City Council Candidates will respond to previously prepared questions; WSLS 10 News Anchor John Carlin will moderate the event. The event will not include an audience Q&A session. Each candidate will have a fixed time to address each question and for follow-up comments. Questions will be focused on topics that allow the candidates to talk about their platforms, the issues, and their qualifications. Time will be allocated at the end of the forum for candidates to speak one-on-one with voters and the media.
