DESCRIPTION:Our Club’s Fun Committee has made arrangements to enjoy a baseball game at the Salem Red Sox on July 27; come before the 6:45pm to help sing the National Anthem and to socialize. \nWe have a group of 60 tickets reserved for advance purchase for us to sit together. Tickets are $13 each which gets you into the game and gives you a $3 food voucher to use there. Should be a FUN night at the ballpark. Repurchased tickets will be distributed just outside of the gate. \nWear a Kiwanian shirt or hat. This is an excellent opportunity to invite a guest to see some of what makes our Club special.

DESCRIPTION:The annual grant proposal period is open from July 1 thru August 15. \nThe Kiwanis Club of Roanoke funds worthy projects in the Greater Roanoke Valley that support our mission of serving the children\, older adults\, and disadvantaged in our community. We also assist organizations that promote the environment and conserve our Valley’s natural resources. We give strong consideration to those projects where our Club’s members can get involved and invest their time\, talents\, and sweat equity. If you have a project that meets these criteria\, you are invited to apply for a grant. \nCheck our Grants website page for additional information.
