We will meet at the SERVEPRO of Roanoke County located at 1301 Southside Drive in Salem to begin wrapping at 6:00pm on Tuesday December 12. Each wrapper will be given wrapping supplies and a bag of gifts to be wrapped or a specific young boy or girl. DESCRIPTION:Volunteer to work the KPAD ticket sales booth at the December 2-3 Holiday Craft and Vendor Show at the Berglund Center. The show runs from 9am-4pm on Saturday December 2\, and from 10am-4pm on Sunday December 3. We are partnering again with the Holiday Craft and Vendor Show for advance ticket sales. We will also be partnering with them for the May 4 Spring Craft and Vendor Show occurring simultaneously with the May 4 KPAD.

SUMMARY:SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING
DESCRIPTION:Every year we ring the bell to raise funds for the Salvation Army and we are looking for volunteers to help out every Friday during Dickens of a Christmas in downtown Roanoke. Shifts are December 1\, 8\, 15 and last one hour starting at 6pm and ending at 9pm. We like to have two people per shift.

SUMMARY:SOCIAL - Mill Mountain Theater
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a social evening at the Mill Mountain Theater. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served on the second floor of the Center In The Square building just outside of the Harrison Museum beginning at 6:00pm. Elf The Musical will be performed in the Trinkle MainStage theater at 7:30pm. The cost is $49.00 for Kiwanis Club members\, family\, friends\, and guests. \nElf the Musical is based on the 2003 hit modern-day holiday classic by New Line Cinema\, Elf. Similarly\, Elf the Musical follows Buddy\, a young orphan\, who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s toy bag on Christmas Eve and is transported to the North Pole. Buddy is raised as an honorary Elf\, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa’s permission\, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn’t even believe in Santa\, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
