DESCRIPTION:The annual grant proposal period is open from July 1 thru August 15. \nThe Kiwanis Club of Roanoke funds worthy projects in the Greater Roanoke Valley that support our mission of serving the children\, older adults\, and disadvantaged in our community. We also assist organizations that promote the environment and conserve our Valley’s natural resources. We give strong consideration to those projects where our Club’s members can get involved and invest their time\, talents\, and sweat equity. If you have a project that meets these criteria\, you are invited to apply for a grant. \nCheck our Grants website page for additional information.

SUMMARY:MILL MOUNTAIN STAR DEDICATION CEREMONY
DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a big crowd of Kiwanis members and the public to attend the Mill Mountain Star Dedication ceremony. We will be unveiling to the public the new plaque honoring the winner of this year’s Kiwanis Star auction\, Bower Heating and Air Conditioning. The Mayor and other dignitaries are expected. The press is invited. The dedication ceremony begins at 11:00am at the Star visitor platform. \nThis is an excellent opportunity to invite a guest to see some of what makes our Club special.
