SUMMARY:SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING
DESCRIPTION:Every year we ring the bell to raise funds for the Salvation Army and we are looking for volunteers to help out every Friday during Dickens of a Christmas in downtown Roanoke. Shifts last one hour starting at 6pm and ending at 9pm. We like to have two people per shift.

SUMMARY:HABITAT RESTORE SPRUCE UP
DESCRIPTION:Meet at 9:00 am on January 10th at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore located at 3435 Melrose Ave NW. We will help store personal spruce up the place by restocking inventory and performing related tasks; will finish by 2:00 pm. All work will be indoors; bring water and work gloves. This is a good opportunity to continue with previous Club efforts in this neighborhood.

SUMMARY:BLUE RIDGE MARATHON
DESCRIPTION:Our Kiwanis Club is providing volunteers again this year to run a Blue Ridge Marathon Aid Station. We will hand out drinks and enthusiastically encourage runners. Our aid station is located part way up Roanoke Mountain. The shift starts at 6:45 and ends around 10:45 AM. You can drive up to the Aid Station by taking the Roanoke Mountain Parkway (on the right off the Blue Ridge Parkway just north of the intersection with Mill Mountain Parkway). Volunteers must be in place before the Blue Ridge Parkway closes at 7:00 AM. \nUse the link below to register. Scroll down to Aid Station-BRP Roanoke Mtn hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke.
