SUMMARY:SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING
DESCRIPTION:Every year we ring the bell to raise funds for the Salvation Army and we are looking for volunteers to help out every Friday during Dickens of a Christmas in downtown Roanoke. Shifts are December 2\, 9\, and 16 and last one hour starting at 5pm and ending at 9pm. We like to have two people per shift.

DESCRIPTION:Volunteer to work the KPAD ticket sales booth at the December 3-4 Holiday Craft and Vendor Show at the Berglund Center. The show runs from 9am-4pm on Saturday December 3\, and from 10am-4pm on Sunday December 4. This is the first year that Kiwanis has partnered with the Holiday Craft and Vendor Show for advance ticket sales. We will also be partnering with them for the May 6 Spring Craft and Vendor Show occurring simultaneously with the May 6 KPAD. This partnership has the potential to result in a new KPAD ticket sales record.

SUMMARY:WEST END HOLIDAY WRAPPING
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer to help wrap gifts for children at the West End Center for Youth. This is a fun and popular way to get into the holiday spirit while helping others. We will meet at the SERVEPRO of Roanoke County located at 1301 Southside Drive in Salem to begin wrapping at 5:30pm on Tuesday December 13. Each wrapper will be given wrapping supplies and a bag of gifts to be wrapped or a specific young boy or girl. Gifts will be given to the children at the Holiday Party held during the December 12 Kiwanis Club meeting.
